I walk gingerly out of my room, still not quite prepared for the full onslaught. And there I see them, relaxed - apparently oblivious to the foul smell (left by their pet) and their responsibility to clean it up.
I'm battling hard now - trying to remain calm... to shine, but one 'off the cuff' remark from my teen-aged son sends me over the edge.
My voice rises as I vent my frustration, and the real stench sets in.

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize until just recently that you and Marva are sisters! Goodness! I love that girl!!!! How neat that both of you have such beautiful voices for Jesus. I got the opportunity to meet Marva in St. Thomas in March. I was on a cruise with my family so her and I got to spend the day while my boys went off exploring :-)
The hope you share here is beautiful. We need bright lights in the darkness now more than ever. I pray your words reach and bless many!
